I'm a front-end developer with an interest in client-side development through the use of HTML, CSS & JavaScript. I'm an evangelist of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, standardization & open-source. I don't design the sites you use, I make them work.
As an avid fan of Drupal, their community, and someone who promotes the CMS at every given opportunity, I'm considering doing the unthinkable...moving to WordPress. I currently run several sites from the same Drupal 6.x codebase, and while the more involved sites will still run Drupal, I want something a little lighter weight for the blogs I run.
After several months of being without an iPhone, I'm back. Actually I've had my current iPhone 3G for about a month and a half now and all I can say is it is simply the best option out there for what I want and need in a mobile device. I'm not going to call it a phone, because let's face it...it's much more.
This post was supposed to happen sometime ago, but after having it all typed up and going to submit it, my DB server decided to crash at the exact moment and the post was forever lost.
So with the New Year comes change. No, not the type of change we heard about in the presidential elections, I'm talking about personal change...more specifically, change for me.
Day 45 with the Blackberry Storm has come and gone and in the next few days, the phone itself will be gone as well. I gave it more than a fair chance but it has just become too frustrating. I'm not sure what I'll be replacing it with, since I'm stuck with Verizon, but a new phone is definitely imminent. Using this thing makes me feel more helpless than when I had to sit idly by watching my wife painfully give birth to my son just a few weeks ago. The Blackberry Storm is simply awful.
